ESET v7 won’t install properly – Error includes: Analysis of application protocols not functioning
Download the ESET Safe Mode Uninstaller Tools – restart the computer into safe mode and run the tool REPEATEDLY until no more programs are found (might take 2 or 3 runs)…
Steps for manual removal AFTER running the tool in safe mode:
1. Delete all ESET entries in the registry at:
HKLM/Software
HKCU/Software
2. Run these commands to ensure the services are gone:
sc delete ehttpsrv
sc delete eamon
sc delete ehdrv
sc delete ekrn
sc delete epfwtdir
3. Make sure all ESET dfirectories are removed from:
Win Vista and newer-
C:\program files\
C:\program data\
XP:
C:\program files\
C:\documents and settings\all users\application data\
